Right First Time (RFT)

STS adheres to the Right First Time (RFT) principle, which aims to achieve quality, efficiency, and safety by executing processes correctly on the first attempt, thus eliminating the need for rework or corrections. In STS, RFT is essential for minimising costs, reducing delays, and enhancing safety through careful planning, skilled personnel, clear procedures, and using technology to prevent errors and ensure optimal performance from the beginning.

STS has a pool of qualified, experienced, and competent quality professionals, including IRCA-approved auditors, welding specialists, and inspection personnel certified by API, AWS, CSWIP, BGas, ASNT, and Ex. By adopting RFT, STS maintains a strong reputation, complies with regulations, and improves project outcomes while enhancing efficiency and mitigating risks.

Certifications

STS’s corporate quality management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 29001:2020 standards. STS’s three major fabrication facilities hold ASME U, U2, S, and PP certificates of authorisation, which enable the manufacture of boilers, pressure vessels, and power piping. Additionally, these facilities are authorised by the National Board (R Stamp) to repair and alter pressure vessels.

STS’s Ras Al Khaimah, UAE facility (STS Clad) is certified to API Spec Q1 and API 5LD, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards for manufacturing cladded pipes.
