Manufacturing
STS Group operates two specialized manufacturing workshops in Oman, covering a total area of 145,745 sqm. A state-of-the-art heavy fabrication facility is located in Nizwa and another manufacturing setup is located at Sohar the industrial city of Oman close to the northern borders. We have covered fabrication areas in excess of 24,000 sqm. with effective fabrication height of max. 10.5 m under hook and single lift capacity of 800MT within the facility.
Both shops are equipped with modern facilities for Plate cutting, metal forming, Drilling, welding, heat treatment, and machining activities. Workshop facilities include heavy fabrication bays, vessel fabrication shops, machine shops, and areas dedicated to exotic materials welding.
Our Nizwa facility is capable of manufacturing critical equipment with thicknesses up to 239 mm (cold rolling) — among the largest in the Middle East, except KSA. Both workshops are supported by an impressive array of handling and quality control systems, ensuring reliability.
Our main products are all kinds of Static / Process equipment, Reactors, Columns, Heat Transfer Equipment, Process Skids & Modules, Piping Pre-fabrication works etc., etc. We have an ‘In house’ design team capable of designing static equipment to the International Rule ASME Sec. VIII Div. 1/ ‘U’, Div. 2/’U2’ Stamp for Process Equipment and in-house HTRI program for thermal design of Heat Exchangers.
Currently, we have supply references to more than 16 countries. Our equipment are installed & operating in various countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Brazil (for Offshore / FPSO), Congo, Russia, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Singapore, Turkmenistan, India, USA apart from the GCC region.
The Facility also includes a 3,000 sqm. of covered maintenance shop to cater to pump maintenance, machining, valve repair, testing, refurbishment and calibration.
STS Group’s regional footprint is further strengthened by STS CLAD, an 80,000 sqm specialized facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, focused on pipe cladding and weld overlay services.
