This event was attended by STS senior management representatives.

The Green Hydrogen Summit Oman (GHSO),held under the auspices of His Excellency Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of energy and Minerals took place in Oman from November 29 - December 1, 2021, at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.This event was a set-upthat promises to impart new vigour and buzz to the Sultanate’s premier international forum on clean energy.

Delivering the keynote address at the opening of the Green Hydrogen Summit Oman, the Under-Secretary also emphasized Oman government’s commitment to embracing green hydrogen as the sustainable energy alternative to fossil fuels and also noted the country’s resolve to press ahead with the pursuit of Green Hydrogen.
The proposed hydrogen economy, envisions new investment inflows, estimated in the range of $34 Billion by 2040 and create a potential 147, 000 jobs. This will position Oman among the region’s top 3 producers of clean hydrogen.

The three-day summit showcased the future potential of hydrogen as a sustainable energy resource.During the summit, a series of sessions were held focusing on the following five themes.

• Oman’s National Strategy for Green Hydrogen.
• Oman’s Current Project Development.
• International partnerships and investment opportunities.
• Successful learnings from regional and international projects.
• Latest trends and technological advancements.
