STS commenced PE lining operations in 1995 and has since successfully installed over 800 km of HDPE lining in sizes ranging from 3 inch to 36 inch and pressures up to 3,200 PSI.

Inserted using specialised installation techniques the STS liner systems have been extensively used in the petroleum industry and have wide applications in mining, industrial, muncipal and agricultural piplines. In the STS liner system, the polyethylene liner isolates the flow stream in the host pipe. The host pipe provides the strength and the liner provides superior corrosion protection.
