FAHUD CONTROL SYSTEM UPGRADE PROJECT RISES

STS are executing a complete upgrade of the Fahud control system via it’s PDO (petroleum Development Oman) EMC (Engineering Maintenance Contract) in Joint Venture with Mott McDonald. This significant $46 Mill USD project includes the construction of a number of buildings in the Fahud area of Oman and upgrade of much of the instrumentation. As of date, a number of the new buildings were rising from the desert and the project’s expected completion is approx 4th Quarter 2009.

FAHUD GAS CAPACITY EXPANSION PROJECT

STS were recently awarded the Fahud Gas capacity expansion project vis it’s PDO EMC contract in Joint Venture Mott McDonald. This EPC project of a value of $30 Mill USD is due for completion by Quarter 4 2009 builds on STS’s extensive track record of recent Oil & gas EPC project execution in the North of Oman. This EPC project is currently under design stage and the client (PDO) is purchasing major equipment such as compressors.

POWER ON AL NAHADA BOOSTER STATION

Transformers at the recently constructed Al Nahada Booster station project were recently commissioned by the STS IECC Team on time and schedule. The project is now ready for final commissioning activities and tie-in to the existing oil distribution network.

 
4.
OCCIDENTAL TANKAGE RISES FROM THE DESERT

STS has recent expanded it’s services to include the complete EPC of tanks. At Occidental Safah in the North of Oman STS is executing it’s first tank EPC project and as of December 2007 report 55% project completion onsite.

 
5.
HANOVER AWARDS SECOND CONTRACT TO STS AT ZAULIYAH

Hanover Middle East, following on from the execution of it’s Daleel Gas compression partnership with STS, has recently awarded the construction of a second gas project to STS in the Zauliyah area of central Oman. This is the second contract of it’s nature to be awarded by Hanover to STS and the first contract undertaken by Hanover directly to PDO (Petroleum Development Oman).
