Awarded : April 2010 Period : 18 Months STS is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract to construct Phase I of the Zahrat Al Khareef residential development in Oman by Iskan. Iskan is a specialist Omani Real Estate management and investment group (www.iskanoman.com). “Zahrat Al-Khareef Dhofar is Iskan’s flagship residential project spread over 29,000 square meters located at Al-Wadi area of Salalah in southern Oman. Right next to the naturally beautiful Salalah Gardens and only 2 kilometres from the white beaches, the site offers magnificent views of the majestic mountains. The project includes over 550 luxurious apartments, commercial properties (stores), a club house, swimming pool and over 600 parking spaces. |  |
2 | Project: Sohar Refinery Shutdown Client : Oman Refinery and Petrochemicals (ORPC) Value : 16 Mill US$ Approx.. Awarded : Oct 2009 Period : 7 Months Building on it’s successful completion of the Mina Al Fahal Refinery Shutdown in the 07/08 period, STS has been awarded the Sohar refinery shutdown. The refinery shutdown will involve STS mobilizing a workforce of +2000 personnel to execute the first major Sohar (116,000 barrel per day) refinery shutdown. The award further builds on STS’s impressive major shutdown/refinery capability. Preshutdown works commence in Qtr 4 of 2009 and major shutdown activities will be executed in February and March of 2010. |  |
3 | Project: Medco Integrated Service Contract (ISC) Client : Medco LLC Awarded : Aug 2009 Period : 2 years STS is proud to announce the award of a 2 year extension to it’s existing Oil & Gas Integrated Service Contract with Medco LLC. The work, which is located within the Karim Small fields in the South of Oman, involves provision of integrated services such as engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, logistics/warehousing and project management for Medco’s ongoing Karim Small Field Operations. The award comes on the back of an excellent 2year LTI free safety record achieved by the Medco/STS project team for the ISC contract. |  |
4 | Project :Shah & Sahal Project ADCO Abu Dhabi Client : TR Engineering Spain Value : Approx 0.3 Mill US$ Awarded : July 2009 Period : 1 Year (approx) STS have been awarded a major ASME vessel fabrication order for the ADCO (Adbu Dhabi National Oil Company) Shah & Sahal Project by the Spanish international EPC company Tecnicas Reunidas. The award is the third major fabrication package secured from within the United Arab Enmirates (UAE) in 2009 and reflects STS’s active ongoing role in the UAE fabrication market going forward. |  |

Special Technical Services (STS) is pleased to announce the award of the Structural, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation construction contract for the BP Khazzan Makarem EWT (Extended Well Test) facility project by Enerflex Systems Pty Ltd with head-offices in Canada and International branch offices to facilitate regional work. Enerflex are an international turnkey process solution provider who has been awarded the EPC contract by BP Oman for provision of the EWT facilities.

STS in Joint Venture with it’s specialist international Joint Venture partner, Austin Engineering, has been awarded a contract to fabricate and supply 200 cell bus units for the Emirates Aluminium - EMAL. EMAL, currently building the world’s largest aluminium smelter in Abu Dhabi - UAE, is due to start operations in April 2010.
