STS enjoys a joint venture arrangement with well-known Australian company Austin ‎Engineering to manufacture and install bus bar, anode stems and other key ‎assemblies for Aluminium Smelter projects in the Middle East. The specialist Joint ‎Venture Company known as MASCO (Majan Aluminium Services Co) also provides ‎maintenance services to the Aluminium Industry particularly in the area of anode ‎stem refurbishment. MASCO’s manufacturing capabilities are based in Sohar at ‎STS’s workshop and with it’s low operating costs and strategic location adjacent to ‎Sohar port is well placed to service the global Aluminium Industry.‎
